At Engrave Your Gift we work with a range of engraving styles to fit the tone and feel of your message, lifting your gift and giving it just the right feel.

On the face of it, the style of lettering may not seem to be of huge importance, but a minutes thought – and the sheer quantity of styles that have been created over the ages - will confirm that the choice of lettering style can, and does, affect the mood and meaning of a message… and this is of particular importance for engraved gifts!

The set of styles we have selected to use is versatile and appropriate to the work we do, but don’t worry; you won’t be spending hours flicking through sheet after sheet of alphabets in slightly different lettering!

Our most robust and ‘straightforward’ style is probably our ‘Roman Block’ style, perfect, perhaps, for a big, chunky style saying ‘Dad’s!’ on a tankard! For something a little more delicate and ornate we use ‘Bernard Style’; and for those more tender and emotive occasions we’d probably suggest using the ‘Yale Script’, on a cutlery set for a Christening for example.

Of course the choice is yours! All our styles are available to use on any of our large range of gifts, and with our Free Engraving policy your message will be expressed in word and in style!
